Position Responsibilities
The primary objective of this role is to liaise with the Client and Professional Services teams (CS & PS) to provide internal technical administrative support. The role will also involve production client interaction relating to ticket logging, Hosting administrative tasks and bank connectivity requests. This position is s team, and is based in Jacksonville, Florida. . Proactively monitor Support Mailbox and promptly respond to incoming client support requests as applicable
. Promptly address FTP password requests for internal PS and CS staff
. Upon request from PS staff, retrieve files from FTP site(s) - either external or internal - such as reports that need to be upgraded, databases to be transferred etc.
. Assist with ongoing maintenance of internal PS and CS support virtual machines (VMs): o Load client databases on the VM's upon request o Restart VMs upon request o Maintain AG-Quantum site configuration files (i.e. 's) and logon credentials for the various databases o Update VM requests on SunGard Intranet to manage new VM requests or changes to existing VM's o Periodically review VM maintenance requirements and ensure they are as standardized as possible.
. Interact with clients to assist with Level 1 eTX support including: o Check bank connectivity o Occasionally contact banks for further troubleshooting
. Interact with clients to coordinate Hosting Level 1 administrative support including: o Logging incidents and change requests in AvantGard Service Desk o User admin functions (password resets, replacement keyfobs, etc.) o Standard hosted change control requests (e.g. deploy test report to prod, map new drives, etc.)
. Assist CS staff with preparation of formal client Incident and Corrective Action Plan reports for formal root cause analysis reporting
. Ongoing updating and maintaining of pre-seeded standardized databases . Assist with developing "pre-built" client databases post finalized client design sessions with newly implementing clients as directed by PS project managers
. Assist Enterprise Solutions team with maintaining custom report library
. Responsibility for maintaining PS/CS KnowHow site o Ensure client licenses are up to date o Technical and "How To" documentation o Project documentation o Internal training and client webinar material
. Assist with maintaining asset data and housekeeping in AvantGard's service desk systems, BMC Remedy and
. Assist with integration planning, testing and maintenance between service desk and development/product management systems
. Generate customized ad-hoc service desk reports as requested
. Maintain email distribution lists for general client communication
. Provide backup Managed Services support for clients engaging SunGard to perform their regular system monitoring and maintenance Position Requirements
. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external customers
. Clear organizational and time management skills
. Good demonstrable technical skills particularly with system monitoring and maintenance
. Experienced analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly using any scheduling, automation and/or file transfer tools
. Disciplined open ticket administration ensuring current status maintenance
. Experience with maintaining Virtual Machines
. Experience with BMC Remedy and/or strongly preferred
. Treasury / financial markets knowledge is preferred
. Working experience with AvantGard products is an advantage
