Responsibilities: . Responsible for server maintenance, monitoring, patch management, troubleshooting Application and Database servers, Citrix Metaframe Servers and various communication servers for an Application Service Provider (ASP). . Responsible for network performance, reliability and security. . Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, Telephony and other hardware. . Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances. . Perform ongoing network monitoring, trouble-shooting analysis, corrective action and improvement activities. . Develop and deploy network and server redundancies and fail-over/fail-back solutions to ensure high availability of application and database services. . Develop, deploy and enforce reliable server backup-recovery strategies, processes and procedures to minimize downtime. . Create technical documentation on backup procedures of server specifications and server configurations instructions. . Allocate storage assets and physical placement of file systems on those assets as well as manage the data backup, and recovery. Education: High school graduate or equivalent Position Requirements: . Strong documentation skills . Familiarity with backup and restore processes . 5+ years in-depth knowledge of Citrix Servers . Familiarity with build automation, patch management . 5+ years in-depth knowledge of Windows Servers . Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Textron (and its subsidiaries) participates in E-Verify.
