Quality Manufacturing Engineer
This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Quality Manufacturing Engineer located in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Direct Hire Position. We are actively seeking top talent to interview and hire as soon as possible.
Position Overview
Implement process controls and procedures to proactively address problems and improve Quality and manufacturing flow.
Reviews and modifies Quality manual to maintain ISO-9001 compliance
Work closely with testing department to insure manufacturing test plans are in control.
Manages Supplier Quality efforts with suppliers
Introduces root cause and corrective action techniques to systematically address the root cause of quality problems throughout the organization.
Leads manufacturing efforts during design reviews. Interfaces closely with Design Engineers to insure an efficient and defect-free release to production.
Develops Manufacturing procedures and workstation instructions to increase production capabilities and overall quality control
Analyzes current manufacturing capabilities and manages long-term equipment and production resource planning as it relates to the Sales & Operations Planning process.
Analyzes new manufacturing techniques and proposes enhancements based on current methods. Interfaces with Engineering on methods and recommendations for improvement.
Commitment to Cost (variable and fixed), Quality (scrap, rework and customer returns), and Delivery (customer satisfaction, throughput and lead time).
Documentation Control – ownership of release and change procedures for Bills of Materials. Works closely with NPI Leader to manage release of drawings on parts list system (Parts & Vendors).
Manages the Quality and Manufacturing processes throughout the Operation including Incoming Inspection, Production, and Test.
Requirements:
BS or BA degree from four-year College or University
Demonstrated proficiency with ERP and MRP systems and a variety of PC applications such as Word, Excel and Access.
Experience with various Quality databases and data collection tools for ISO-based nonconformance tracking.
Strong leadership abilities with proven team building skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in diverse work environments.
Hands on understanding of various processes including PCB design/manufacturing, electronic assembly techniques, and RF compliance and production testing a plus
Execution-driven attitude with a passion for excellence. Focused towards long-term improvements in a team-based environment.
Excellent planning & organizational abilities.
Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills.
Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to apply problem solving skills to drive complex issues to resolution; Root Cause & Corrective Action.

Perferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Six Sigma, TQM, or similar process improvement based initiatives.
Strong ability to lead teams and solve complex problems in a multi-task environment; proven project/program management experience.
Experience with job-shop or custom manufacturing environments.
