Job Description: Ability to plan, organize, monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources. Manage the Delivery Systems, Service ShareIT and IM areas for Infrastructure from Unit through Production Requires working across IT and Business areas. Individual will be accountable for multiple projects. Responsible for the overall direction, management, communication, coordination of status reports for the projects assigned Utilize project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations Accountable for multiple deliverables associated with a project Research and develop project timelines, deliverables, resources, tasks & dependencies based upon the project capability Maintain project level work breakdown structure by tracking events, tasks, dependencies, and progress within a project plan Identify discrepancies in planned versus actual cost Communicate project status and advise project team, customers, and staff on tactical solutions to dealing with barriers within a project Monthly Releases may require overtime work
Job Requirements: 5 or more years Project Management experience managing technology projects Demonstrated experience with the concepts, theories and processes of Project Management Methodology (PMM) or Product Development Methodology Understanding of industry and business related processes, functions and architectures Demonstrated expertise with the concepts, theories and processes of Project Management Methodology (PMM) or Product Development Methodology Demonstrated experience with MS Project Experience writing/creating multiple integrated scope documents Communicate project status to business partners, project team, and leadership * Accountable for active facilitation of issue resolution, change management and dependency management Able to work in a fast paced and multi project environment Able to interface with technical staff to obtain requirements Works well under pressure Works well with a team Detail oriented Knowledge of technologies - Websphere, Portal, Oracle, AIX(Unix), and SQL databases helpful
