Current Need
The position of Medical Billing Supervisor has recently become available in our Jacksonville, FL office.

Position Description
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the employee supervision, motivation and training in one of our large medical billing processing centers.



The Operations Supervisor will supervise and coordinate all Accounts Receivable functions and staff, reviewing and responding to quality and productivity results.



General duties include overseeing the AR department, including maintaining specific AR metrics set forth by the business unit consistently a monthly basis.

This includes achieving client revenue targets, analyzing A/R performance to include net collection %, days in A/R, average collections per patient,

Specific employee management duties include; conducting group meetings with teams; maintaining records and tracking information for production staff, quality averages, etc; conducting performance reviews, counseling, assigning employees to specific duties; planning and forecasting unit workload needs and expectations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; planning and scheduling of support according to client closing date schedule. Also included is the direct supervision of approximately 10 to 15 employees, planning, assigning and directing work, interviewing and hiring employees, training employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. A/R Supervisor reports directly to the Back End Operations Manager.

Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Working knowledge of Micro Soft Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Strong ability to speak effectively, present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, or employees of the organization.

- Detail orientated.

- Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.

Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate will have at least 2-5 years experience managing 10+ employees (AR supervisory/management helpful, but not required) Ability to develop and train staff in AR trends and procedures.



Proven AR reduction plan by developing and training staff Ability to analyze AR Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, Commercial (PPO AND HMO) and Workers Compensation knowledge a must Microsoft office; emphasizing EXCEL and Pivot tables.



A Medical Billing background is required with a strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable Management and back-end physician billing. Practice Management and coding experience is a plus.

Education
A high school diploma is required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
