Title: Intelligence Analyst 2/3 (P) (L) Location: USA This is a part time temporary on-call position.
Primary Location: OCONUS
Must get TS/SCI clearance requiring a lifestyle polygraph. Must be a U.S. citizen
Description: At an OCONUS field site the Intel Analyst 3 Exempt will be tasked with acquiring signals thru RF systems, capturing samples using hardware or software tools provided, verifying content and identifying parameters, users, and all technical specifics as required. The individual will be required to react to ad hoc requirements as well as a daily set of tasks. The Intel Analyst 3 will provide 24 hour per day/7 day per week support for mission operations, on a rotating 12 hour shift schedule. The principle duties involve operating terminal equipment related to real time link forwarding and tuning signals. He/she will operate a unique system for recording, controlling, and distribution of signals. Functions include operating various computer systems, signal analytical and recording equipment, executing intercept accounting functions, and maintaining online communications with field elements. The operator/specialist shall have 5 years of experience in communications signals analysis. The person shall have 3 years experience in modulation schemes, error correction coding, compression techniques, bitstream randomization, and multiplexing. In addition the person shall have 5 years experience with analog to digital conversion, software and hardware demodulation to include a UNIX operating system background, High Power Workstations (HPW) and communications analysis software.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or foreign studies and 7 years scientific and technical intelligence analysis experience. In lieu of formal education, 13 years experience. Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Lifestyle Poly Must be willing to work OCONUS on rotating shifts. Additional Qualifications: Strong analytical skills, strong writing skills, excellent communication/presentation skills, thorough knowledge of computer analytical software.
