The Associate Agent Executive - or AAE, will work with a Principal Agent who has given notice of retirement. The AAE will work with the Principal (Coach) Agent with intention to replace the Principal Agent upon completion of the program/retirement of the Principal.
This approach will provide you with Seed book of business (once transition to Replacement Agency Executive program) Transition directly from retiring agent Retiring agent provided location
This opportunity will require proof of liquid capital needed to run an agency. We will aid you in your development to become a successful business owner - but like all businesses, you must invest to grow!
Company Provided Assistance Overview (6-12 months): - Work from a location provided by Nationwide or participating agent - Nationwide covers the cost of the lease, utilities/maintenance, technology, office supplies and customer service representative (Open Agency only) - Base compensation with the opportunity to earn variable compensation (variable compensation paid based on your personal performance and pre-determined payout rate) - Step-by-step training and development program to prepare you for selling, managing, and running a Nationwide insurance agency - Marketing support, direct mail support, lead generation tools and allocation of funds for local marketing expenses - Company-provided BlackBerry and computer for business use - Travel expenses associated with training and development classes - Benefits credit of $276 a month ($3,600 annually) will be provided and may be used toward personal insurance needs or required Errors & Omissions coverage (benefits coverage does not begin until after the first 30 days of continuous service) -Receive company-paid time off of 5 days and all company-paid holidays - Agent Coach/trainer for AAE Anticipatory and AAE Replacement
Success Criteria:
- Capital: Minimum $35,000 liquid capital and positive net worth - Licenses: Active and valid Property, Casualty, Life and Heath licenses - Background Check: Satisfactory results of background assessment using consumer reports designated by Nationwide - Pre-employment Drug Screen: Negative drug screen for controlled substances within 48 hours of receiving a verbal employment offer - United States Employment Eligibility: Satisfactoryproof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Work Experience: 57 years experience; preferably in the insurance, financial, retail, banking, or sales industry
