Director, Distribution Operations
- Develop, implement, and improve operating processes which effectively support company growth. - Leverage technology to drive improved efficiencies and economies of scale, including leadership, development, and utilization of WM/LM systems, Material Handling Systems, and project management skills. - Seek out opportunities for process or workflow improvements to ensure warehouse activities are streamlined. - Collaborate with business units, distribution functions, and transportation to develop and execute plans to achieve business objectives. - Assist in the development of long range plans in support of the business, establishing priorities, and setting direction for the distribution function while maintaining positive employee relations . - Act as communication liaison with key stakeholders, internal and external customers. - Gather, analyze, and report on performance (operational and financial). - Create and maintain strong cross functional teams and strategic alliances to achieve objectives. - Direct, motivate, and develop staff by providing clear goals and stretch assignments while supporting business needs. - Partner with team members for ongoing training and development needs.
