full-time RNs for the Adult Emergency Department. Projected Nurse/Patient ratio is 1:4 or 1:5 depending on volume and acuity. The Emergency Department has 28 ER beds, 12 Fast Track beds and 5 Clinical Decision Unit beds. Ideal candidates must have valid FL RN license, ACLS and BLS. Annual cases = 60,000
Provides for patient care needs as recognized through the use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; and coordination of care provided by ancillary servies. Education of patients and their siginificant others to their disease process and plan of care. Serve as patient advocate.
